Inca Trail 4 day Trek

The hardest 4 day challenge of my life but the best support from the guides who provided masses of help and encouragement to keep us going. Camps were very basic but always set up and ready when we arrived and all the food was hot, tasty and incredible. Sleeping bags, mats and pillows were provided and transported from camp to camp by the most incredible team of porters who were up at dawn and worked so hard to make sure everything was whete it was supposed to be. Excellent organisation all round. Amazing staff. An experience to last a life time! Highly recommend.

An unforgettable Inca Trail experience – Trexperience were first class!!

The Inca Trail was demanding, challenging and exhilarating in equal measure! My husband (71) and I (62) took on the four-day trek with a group of 16 friends from our gym, raising money for a charity in Ghana - Akwaaba Volunteers. From start to finish, the Trexperience team were absolutely first class. Our lead guide and his two supporting guides were knowledgeable, attentive and incredibly professional. We genuinely would not have made it without them. They supported us in every way imaginable, showing tremendous understanding and empathy when things became tough, whether through a variety of altitude sickness symptoms, physical exhaustion, or those moments when you simply felt mentally defeated. We were also supported by an amazing team of 22 people, including the head chef, sous chef, toilet attendant and 19 porters. They carried our tents, camping equipment, food, and everything else we needed for the four days, including a personal bag for each of us. The care and hard work of the whole team were incredible. And the food deserves a special mention – we were amazed by what the chefs produced in such challenging conditions! When we finally reached Machu Picchu, our lead guide gave us a fascinating three-hour historical tour of the archaeological site. We then headed into town for a well-earned celebratory lunch before catching the train back to Cusco. The whole experience was absolutely amazing – first class and faultless. We cannot thank the Trexperience team enough for getting us to Machu Picchu and making such a challenging adventure so memorable. We would wholeheartedly recommend Trexperience to anyone considering the Inca Trail. They were exceptional!

VIP Service

Chef Leandro, Head Porter Benedicto, and Tour Guides Daniel "The Legend" and Danny Gonzalo made it a 5-star experience! The breakfast, lunch, and dinner spreads were unbelievable—so generous, delicious, and way beyond what I expected. I was amazed that our Chef even prepared a birthday cake on our final night. I'm so grateful for the head porter’s leadership and to all 12 porters who made the trip easier by carrying my personal belongings and camp essentials. The Tour Guides provided VIP-level service throughout the hike; one or both were always close by. I called them my "left" because whenever I needed help, one of them held my hand to keep me safe. The Legend shared so much historical knowledge. TreXperience really helped make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

A great 4 Inca trial trexperience! (Amazing guides, food, and sights!)

We had a great experience! Our guides Monica and (assistant guide) Baldino were very knowledgeable about all imca sites along the way and kept up spirits at the highest points. The food was amazing, chef Santos is really a magic worker. The team (porters) was helpful and professional. It can get pretty cold at night, so be prepares for that. Also the dead womans pass needs a bit of training before if you are not fit.

Lovely experience!

Fantastic views & interesting insights from the guides on the inca trail. The food and accommodation were top arranged! The facilities on the mountain were disappointing but of course that was also to be expected:)
