Traveler reviews
Horrible and avoid.
Better are the Italian beaches in Liguria and perhaps in Riccione. Milan is also better. Enough and stay home.
Bein Harim Tour and our tour guide Norbert Nakache
We booked a 4 day Classic Israel tour with Bein Harim. We chose the small group formula (up to 20 persons). Very professional, always on time and well organized. We recommend Bein Harim tour with a special mention to Mr Norbert Nakache one of the best tour guide we met. Norberto is very organized, he drives and he explains a lot of things of the country, he is funny and inclusive, he is able to create a group among his tourists. Very attentive and careful to all needs. It has been a wonderful tour with him and we never forget him!! Thanks Bein harim and Thanks to Norberto. Barbara and Raffaele from Bologna Italy

Awesome guide Yoav Malachi
I took 4 different tours with 3 different guides, and Yoav Malachi was by far the best guide. He explains things nicely - you don't get bored and you get more out of whatever you are seeing. Yoav is very experienced knowledgeable, and covers every possible detail or question ahead of time, so the tour runs smoothly, people understand where there are going, when and where to meet up and no one was lost or late. On the tours I took where he was not the guide, that was not the case - people were unsure of where and when to meet, guide wasted time answering many questions you may not care about, etc. He throws in just the right amount of humor, history, geography, politics, and remains very open-minded, no over-preaching his personal views. Yoav made my Israel trip a wonderful experience!
I booked this as a 2-day tour, but...

I booked this as a 2-day tour, but it turned out I was the only person, so it actually turned out to be two 1-day tours, each with a different group and guide. This was ok, but it would have been better if I had known in advance, and I could have maybe decided to do it differently. As it happened, it worked out ok. I was given the option of either going back to Tel Aviv between the two tours or keeping to the original plan of staying in a kibbutz. The kibbutz was actually a hotel at the entrance to the kibbutz, and was nice, but not quite the authentic kibbutz experience I was hoping for. They provided me taxi transfers to and from the hotel, which went smoothly. Both tours were good, as advertised. The guides were knowledgable and quite professional. The first day's guide explained she did not have her cell phone, so make sure we didn't lose her. However, she didn't seem to make much effort to remain visible and we found ourselves chasing after her to make sure we didn't get lost. The second day, the guide conducted the tour in English and German, for the benefit of one guest. However, he seemed to speak more in German than in English - not so popular with some of the participants. Not to sound too negative, both tours delivered as promised. The guides of course each have personalities, so that's part of the adventure. As it was my first experience as a solo traveller, I appreciated the opportunity to see all these places safely and with a variety of interesting companions! I would still recommend this tour.
