Secret Valley and Machu Picchu

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Vipac Travel, arranged through our travel agent, Harnal Travel, on our family vacation to Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. From start to finish, everything was flawlessly planned and executed, making this truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip that we will never forget. A huge part of what made this journey so special was our guide, Edwin. He was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, professional, polite, and always on time. Edwin handled every detail in real time, ensuring our trip was completely hassle-free and enjoyable. He personally escorted us everywhere—from each hotel to every form of transportation—making sure we arrived safely and stayed on track throughout our days. He also guided us on the entire 2 day hike and also on the Vistadome train which was a fun experience with amazing views. We always felt safe, well cared for, and completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands. He also went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we had along the way. One of the highlights of our trip was the 2-day, 1-night hike to Machu Picchu. It was an unforgettable bonding experience for our family of five, with breathtaking views that made every step worth it. The scenery was simply stunning, and sharing that adventure together made it even more meaningful. Their chefs and porters provided a fresh cooked lunch half way through the hike at the rest site that was delicious also. Vipac also curated an amazing itinerary that allowed us to explore so many incredible sites over our 4 days in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. From the impressive ruins of Sacsayhuamán to a unique cultural picnic by the river with a shaman, to the fascinating Maras salt mines and other Inca sites—every experience was thoughtfully planned and deeply enriching. We cannot recommend Harnal Travel and Vipac Travel enough. Thanks to Edwin and the entire team, this trip exceeded all of our expectations and left us with memories our family will cherish forever.
