Lizandro. My Guide my friend. Machu Picchu KM104

An excellent day walk via Winaywayna and the Sun Gate (Intipunku) to see Machu Picchu. Lizandro was my guide and soon my friend. He knew the trail and Machu Picchu like the back of his hand and could tell me much much about his “office” from the Inca’s, fauna and flora, geology and other history. He allowed me to set the pace and we had a clear track for most of our time. Day 2 was absorbing as we did a tour inside Machu Picchu and also had time to visit the local thermal springs before the entertaining train ride back. Certainly a trip to remember and do again!
