Agenia Viaggi dell' Elefante with local tour operator in Peru 'VIAJES PACIFICO' (VIPAC): professional guides and collaborators, effective in solving any issues, punctual, detailed in explanations and historical narratives, local artisanal cultures and agricultural productions, profound knowledge of history, locations, altitude, food with also remarkable historical details and listening skills, in Aymara or Quechua translating the meanings of the names of the ancient Inca Kings into images or contemporary meanings, and not least, knowledge of the Italian language, which is very important, generous and very cooperative drivers. -Paracas/Nasca, Tacama, Huacachina, Ballestas, Raqui: Nasca visibility from the plane is precise with valid indications from the pilot; locations and restaurants meet expectations, the "sore point" is obviously the small plane, 10-12 seats, with maneuvers that leave a bit of discomfort, but it was expected. Gabriel Hinostroza, a very professional guide, accompanied us to several sites with high professionalism. -Arequipa, Puno: Andean Sanctuary Museum 'Princess of Ampato', Yanahuara, Santa Catalina Monastery, Colca, Cruz del Condor: Carmen, our excellent guide, provided us with an in-depth tour of each site, covering ancient and modern life and customs, as well as details on fibers, weaving, the differences between various camelids, and their wool production. -Cusco, Chinchero, Sacred Valley, Agua Caliente, Machu Picchu, Maras Salt Mines: Rivelino, our guide for these sites, demonstrated extensive knowledge about the sites and their history. He was friendly, professional, and well-prepared; his excellent relationships helped us avoid potential problems, providing a deep understanding of both local and European historical culture, giving us a broad perspective on the historical moments experienced by different rulers. Rivelino, in particular, along with the other guides, allowed us to see things from a different perspective that we, as tourists, would not have been able to see, making us feel more like guests than 'traveling' tourists. Thank you. A disappointing note: at Aguas Calientes, Hotel El Mapi by Inkaterra, the customer check-in process needs improvement, as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant/breakfast tables, which lacked tablecloths or placemats, with cutlery placed directly on the table. The organization of breakfast also needs improvement: restoring cups and replenishing food items took considerable time (reference time 07:00).
