Traveler reviews
Great Half Day Tour
Great half day excursion. Daniel is an excellent tour guide! He was very patient with the group and answered every question (even when it was the same question multiple times). I highly appreciate the fact that we took the shady paths (when available) on a sunny hot day. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
Cruise is the standout
We went on this tour because the Lindt chocolate factory was sold out and this was only way to see it. I would skip the chocolate factory. It’s hokey and takes less than an hour to walk through although they are very generous with free samples. We thought our 10 year old would love it but she was not enamored although they do provide various hands on experiences. The tour guide was very nice and incredibly helpful. She gave great suggestions and made the tour personal. I think this company needs to find guides that speak better English for the English tours. This is the second tour with this company where the guide obviously could communicate but their accent was so thick it was hard to understand (I of course cannot speak another language so not criticizing except they were the tour guides for an English tour). The one standout was the cruise back. Was not expecting to like that the best but the water and scenery is just gorgeous and I loved how it was the method of travel to get back to the start rather than just a ride around the river.
Fun and beautiful day.
It was a great trip. I wish I would have booked the FIFA. I realize it is a hassle but would have been better if the tour director had used the mic.
A bus ride. A brief...
A bus ride. A brief walking tour. A 30 minute boat ride and then a visit to the Lindt Chocolate museum. After the museum, which really was the highlight of the outing, a public bus ride back to town. Our guide was very nice, but the tour was average.
Zurich
