Our guide Sergio was...
Our guide Sergio was very good with the explanations at Zipaquira, the salt mine; we were given audio guides and could visit at our own pace. The mine with the cathedral shaped inside is truly impressive. Beautiful experience to have when passing through Bogotá.
Incredible underground experience with great service
Had a fantastic time on the tour. The entire trip was incredibly interesting from start to finish. Our tour guide was friendly, welcoming, and highly helpful, ensuring everyone was comfortable throughout the day. The highlight was definitely the underground cathedral. It is absolutely impressive and serves as a unique attraction that everyone in the group could genuinely enjoy. Additionally, the transport was top-notch, as the tour van was completely modern, comfortable, and clean. Highly recommended!
Great Day out in Zipaquira
The salt cathedral is an amazing piece of art, there was a mass going on & the song acoustics echo was awesome, do not miss the 4XD museum, lunched in cute little town of Zapiquria, all good except for the traffic
Great day and adventure...
Great day and adventure and Mr Ambasador de Colombia Sergio was great. About half the group spoke english and he did great in explain details etc. Beyond Colombia is lovely!!
A fruitful and pleasant day
Initially the van picked us up at our hotel. We were in a group of 7 people, 5 Brazilians and 2 Australians. The guide Sérgio was very friendly and helpful, speaking in Spanish and English about the sights. Initially we stopped at a souvenir store and then we had a free time in the square of Zipaquirá. Then the guide Sergio picked up and handed us the audioguides. We had about 2 and a half hours for the tour to the Cathedral. We stop at all points indicated in the audio guide. The Cathedral is really beautiful and we were amazed by the beauty of the places. We returned to the meeting point in the trenzinho, which facilitated the movement. Then we were led to a meat restaurant. The place was nice and with live music. We especially liked the accompaniments, but I didn't find the meats tasty. After lunch we returned to Bogotá, facing a great congestion. In short, it was a very profitable and pleasant day.
