Upon arrival in Taesch, be transported to the charming village of Zermatt aboard an electric vehicle, where a breathtaking beauty experience awaits you. Admire the iconic silhouette of the Matterhorn dominating the landscape.
Nestled at 1620 meters above sea level, the picturesque village of Zermatt enchants with its proximity to 38 four-thousand-meter peaks and 14 glaciers, offering a constant fascination to its visitors.
At 3883 meters above sea level, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise offers a unique sensory experience: breathtaking views, pure mountain air, and glaciers await you. Take the highest cable car in the world to access the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, where a spectacular observation platform, a unique Glacier Palace, and a cinema lounge await you. Your experience begins in the comfort of an 8-seat gondola of the Matterhorn Express, traversing varied landscapes, from lush green meadows to impressive moraines sculpted by glaciers.
Enjoy some free time in the old part of Zermatt, including Hinterdorfstrasse, is a treasure trove of architectural gems, with over 30 buildings showcasing the classic style of the early Walser settlers, reflecting the life of farmers from the past. Explore the narrow streets during free time and admire the traditional houses built with lots of wood and stone. The old part of the village of Zermatt is located on Hinterdorfstrasse and is a true treasure trove of historical buildings. More than 30 buildings feature the classic architectural style of the early Walser settlers, including barns and attics that are up to 500 years old. They represent a piece of history and show how farmers lived in the past.
After such an exciting day at the top of the iconic village of Zermatt, enjoy a relax drive full of souvenirs to Montreux.

The Majestic Matterhorn !
Wonderful day. We were able to see the Matterhorn - breath taking ! Make sure you check the weather though- need clear days to do all activities and see the majestic Matterhorn. Dress warm - it’s very cold up top. You will walk through ice caves, viewing platform and walk on the glacier. Wish we would have come down for lunch and spent more time in Zermatt. Cute village for shopping and adorable restaurants- lunch up top was just ok.
Excellent adventure!
Outstanding excursion. Everything was easy and well explained. A definite highlight of our trip! Roger was a great driver and tour guide!
The snow covered...
The snow covered mountains are beautiful. In November, The trees are an orange yellow and contrast with the snow was spectacular. Our guide, Bibis, was great. He had a great sense of humor, and kept us on track to see everything. We shared the gondola and lift with skier which was fun. the only thing I would recommend is not to eat up top with the skiers. It was crowded and hot. It would have been more fun to eat in Zermatt and spend a little extra time in the town.
A Must-do
This trip is a must-do. The views, downtown shopping and gondola trip to Matterhorn were amazing. The tour guide was incredibly friendly, informative and knowledgeable. He even provided a rest-stop in between and highlighted locations to visit within the vicinity.
Tour is not as advertised.
The driver guide is a driver with explanations how to get around and get tickets does not stay with you when you go up to see the Matterhorn. So it was not a real guided tour. The tram did not take us to the top stopped half way up . The tour advertising what you do and actual is completely different. You pay full and get 3/4.
