Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Tucumán at the agreed time and travel 12 kilometers to Yerba Buena city crossing the Rinconada way. The famous Paul Groussac has described Yerba Buena as “… a happy and picturesque situation between the hills and the city…”.
Then start climbing the lush jungle of Yungas to Villa Nougués, built between hills and ravines. Villa Nougués is a picturesque summertime villa that can be toured walking, horse riding, bike riding or by car. It has a wonderful weather, with warm summers and cold winters; both seasons offer moderate weather, which makes every ride to be pleasant.
A few kilometers later are Loma Bola and San Javier thats exhibits the monumental statue of the Cristo Redentor with a height of 28 meters, just 25 kilometers away from San Miguel de Tucumán.
Then ahead we will visit the Raco small village, a place with endless options and honoring Atahualpa Yunpanqui, an Argentinean folk singer.
Later El Siambón will show as its Cristo Rey monastery, which belongs to the Benedictines Order.
To continue with this beautiful tour you will visit the The Cadillal Dike. For adventure lovers, El Cadillal is the ideal alternative: cannoning, kayaking, mountain biking, windsurfing, kite surfing, and fishing are sports that can be done with the help of professionals on the matter, surrounded by hills, relaxation, and lots of green. There is nothing better than spending time at this dike with a ride on the Arquímides catamaran, from where you can get an unbeatable view of El Cadillal’s landscape.
The last stop of the tour will be the Museum of Archaeology Ernesto Padilla.

Traveler reviews
Adventure in Tucumán
After rafting in Salta, this was the excursion that we liked the most! From the varied vegetation to beautiful waterfalls, each stop left us amazed by the diversity and grandeur of nature in this province. We will be back!
SCAMMERS, DON'T TRUST THEM
Unfortunately, with Tripadvisor’s consent they rip off travelers, fail to deliver on what they promote, and fail to take care of their mistakes.
Excursion to Tungas
The tour was very interesting and well accompanied by the guide, who took us on the tour with a vehicle. We just missed the Yungas hike that we really wanted to do. There were museums that were closed because it was Monday.
Excellent option to take advantage of the afternoon
If you have an appointment scheduled, discard it and take this half-day tour which is very good. You go through the yungas up the mountain where the oldest families of Tucumán live... places with a lot of history. The guides are usually older men with very good level of information, English little and nothing. It's worth doing.
Beautiful landscapes
The tour is highly recommended. Each place shows unspeakable beauty. The guide allowed us to enjoy each of the stops
