Great family snorkeling experience!
Very good experience for my family and me, there were only the 5 of us on the excursion which was super nice. We made 3 stops, once without the guide and the other 2 times with him. We feel that he is experienced and knows the reefs like the back of his hand! It allowed us to see clownfish and sharks. Beyond these 2 species, the fish are magnificent and a change of scenery compared to what we have in France. The meal is good and not spicy, drinking water is available at will and kept cool. The guide takes photos and videos underwater with his GoPro and then sends them to us, it’s very nice. It was windy and rainy and despite that we saw lots of fish; the guide having adapted the diving spots according to the weather conditions! If you want to have a snorkeling experience far from the tourist boats, this is where you should get your tickets. We had a great time. It’s just that we didn’t make any stops on the beaches as I was able to see in some comments and we only spent “4 hours” on the water (boat or diving) with a departure at 10 a.m. and a return at 2 p.m.; but perhaps this is due to the not-so-great weather conditions not allowing us to stop to sunbathe! Anyway, we recommend it! Thank you!
Good snorkel and beach lunch.
Transportation was on time. Boat was ok. The sea was calm so no issues with a bumpy ride. Snorkel guide was great. He took some good photos along the way. I enjoyed that there was reef and fish to see from the surface while also allowing me to get some deeper diving down to see some better stuff. Soft and hard corals. Clown fish, moray eels. Even a sea snake :).
Wonderful experience
Awesome guide and boat captain every thing on time .wonderful experience 👍😁
Best Snorkeling Trip
This was a highlight for us in Krabi. We had originally done the 7 Island Tour with a different company and it was great, but we were still wanting to do some more snorkeling. If you are looking to get off the beaten path and spend a large quantity of time in the water, then this is your tour. We were here in June and my wife, and 2 boys (9 and 11 years old), and myself were the only ones on the tour. We snorkeled around 2 islands and saw many different types of coral and fish. We even saw several BlackTip Reef Sharks. Exhilarating. When we return we will definitely be going through this company and on this tour.
Dreary weather but still fun
This was the second highlight of our 6d5n trip. The first one would be ziplining and abseiling when we were at Krabi town. To be fair, we visited during low season on 10th June. they had asked us if we still wanted to go ahead since weather wasn't good. We said yes. The good thing was: we had the whole long tail boat to ourselves! We had seen droves of noisy South Asian tourists jam packed in a speedboat and felt divine that we had our space. The 45 min ride was extremely choppy, as it was drizzling with very dreary weather. The first snorkel spot had very cloudy and choppy waters but we still were able to see some fish. Keep your life jacket on if you are not a good swimmer. I had taken mine out in order to have a better 'dive'. Not advisable if you are not a strong swimmer as the currents can wear you out after a while. Lunch was at a spot shared with other tourists. Yes that noisy bunch in that speedboat! They were from another tour group thankfully. Our lunch was packed. Our guide had that same lunch too.. fried rice with chicken breast. It was ok, not fantastic. we ordered some fried chicken wings from the same canteen where we were seated but would advise against it. Skin was crisp, but the insides were stil pink..so we didn't touch those parts.. The boatman offered us plated fresh pineapple that was very sweet! The second spot we went to after lunch though was great..a bit choppy but water was clearer..and plenty of fish! This tour provided the snorkel equipment, lunch, bottled water and fruits. The guide mainly does his own thing, with minimal convo. Which suits us fine cos we liked our privacy and frankly, the speedboat is very noisy so its hard to chat anyway. He wasnt as helpful as our previous guides from Phuket and Bali. When one of us had problems hoisting ourselves up the ladder after a snorkel, he very much was in a world of his own. Merely watched from the deck? Could it be that this was more of a 'frills free' tour hence the more laid back attitude as well. Be prepared to have some seasickness if visiting during rainy season. They don't offer pills, so BYO. Overall..We had a fun time despite dreary weather.
