On September 3rd, 1939 the United Kingdom declared war on Germany. Over a year later on the 7th of September 1940, London was at the receiving end of Germany's ‘Lightning’. The Blitz. For 56 out of the next 57 days and nights, London would be reduced to rubble, but not Londoners, who Kept Calm and Carried On.

This tour will take you back in time to one of London's most defining periods. You will learn all about the Blitz and London during the 'phony war.' 

You'll walk past damaged remains such as Christopher Wren's lost Grey Friar, and miraculously saved icons such as St. Paul's Cathedral. Together with your guide, you'll uncover hidden treasures that were unearthed during the war and you'll learn who was responsible for the rebuilding of our city.

Expect memorial gardens, harrowing tales, heroic deeds, and tragic losses. 

This tour will uncover the behind-the-scenes world of London at war, revealing how these terrifying events have reshaped and rebuilt the city that we know today.
