A fun day touring a Seattle Vineyard and Snoqualmie Falls
The Seattle Wine and Snoqualmie Falls tour was a great choice to include in a one week exploration of Seattle, WA.. Our tour guide, Mark, was friendly, funny and very informative. Transportation to/from the Hotel was timely and comfortable on the Customized Tours shuttle. Toured 1 Vineyard, and visited two tasting rooms. Lunch was available for purchase which was tasty and hearty. Tour ended with a visit to a chocolate factory. We had the unexpected pleasure of seeing up close, Roosevelt Elks grazing and picking blackberries road side. The late morning start and mid-afternoon return to the downtown area allowed sufficient time to explore other downtown exhibits, museums, shops and restaurants
Nature and wine, a perfect pair
A full day driving tour with stops at winery tasting rooms and local sights. Mark kept us entertained during the drive with fun trivia and anecdotes. Note that the wine tastings are in commercial tasting rooms, not working wineries or vineyards which are on the other side of the mountains, but included a talk at one of the rooms about the vineyards, grape varietals, etc. Informative and fun. One had lovely gardens for walking around and photos. We also had fun picking wild blackberries and spotted some beautiful Roosevelt Elk. The waterfall was equally impressive! All around a great day, definitely worth it!
Sozzled at Snoqualmie!
Phenomenal guided day trip east of Seattle into beautiful wine country! Mark, a kind hearted and personable tour guide, and all around good soul, wowed us with his local knowledge and kept us rolling all day with jokes and puns. Toured two wineries, ate at a third, visited a German chocolate shop, and spent time at the magnificent Snoqualmie Falls. Made fast fast friends with two other copules. Wine was amazing -- sampled 11 bottles, bought 3. Full day buzzing and laughing. Highly recommend!
