Great day on the hop on, hop off
Booked directly with Gold lines. Hop on, hop off London. Had a great time. Learned a lot. Saw a lot. Explored a lot. Thank you to our guide, Marc and our driver Joseph. Happy this pass is for 24 hours because we will hop on again tomorrow.
Don't go on this!
Awful, waste of money! Waited 50 mins for bus, had to phone for whereabouts. Commentary didn't coincide with area, when it was on. Mostly music.Nothing worth stopping off for and to have to wait an hour for next bus. Leaflet states every 30 min, website 60 mins. Do not waste your time and money. Disgustingly overpriced!
Disappointing
Awful experience with my elderly mother. Wanted a whistle stop tour of London for her on the red route. 1st bus broke down, we changed to the blue route and got dropped off at Paddington post office (28) Driver assured 15 mins for next red route bus. Over an hour later until we were eventually picked up which is not ideal. My 87 year old mother was stressed, anxious , cold and thoroughly disappointed. Only credit to company are your lovely staff. Service times are abysmal . Wo t use again
This tour fell short in comparison to our other Viator tours
We checked the bus times on all the stops in Windsor UK. We took an Uber to one of the stops. The online info says the bus runs every hour. We got to the stop in time to catch the bus which was around 1130. We went to board and we were told the driver was going to take a break until 130 PM. We said there was nothing on line about the bus not running. He agreed to take us then without a break. There was another couple on the bus who did not know about any break. We then went around the block back to the same spot. I asked the driver if that was the tour but it was not so we did get to go on the whole tour within a few minutes. There was minimal history playing on the audio. Lots of music. Too much music. There is a thousand years of history there and we were disappointed in the commentary. All of our other Viator tours have been great. This one not so much. For the $75 Canadian it was not worth it.
We need tour guides like this!
Had the pleasure of going on a Golden Tours Red and Blue Line in London in April 2026. Our tour guide was Marc R and the drivers name was Mohamed (not sure of the spelling). The driver was amazing and drove safely throughout the tour and dont get me started on how amazing Marc is. He was energetic, fun yet professional, entertaining, informative, respectful, and just an overall joy to have. Keep tour guides like this on your pay roll because a machine could NEVER do what people like Marc R could do! Thats a FACT!
