Traveler reviews
Great family adventure
Fantastic tour on the water. Staff were very warm and friendly. The tour itself was very enjoyable and both guides were very knowledgeable and experienced .The hot chocolate and snack were also a welcome treat!
Amazing and unique way to experience Ireland!
I must start by saying Graham is amazing. My husband and I were traveling in Ireland to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and the day of our tour was cold and pouring rain. So, a typical Irish day? Ha! I was worried about catching a cold and just not enjoying the experience, but Graham was able to move us to the next day, which was absolutely gorgeous. We were willing to take the loss and pay for a new booking, so what he did was truly amazing and so kind. Now onto the experience itself. We had Eoin and Rian as our guides, and they were great. Eoin's humor put me at ease and made the experience a lot of fun. The only part I can critique is the relaunch after our halfway rest with hot chocolate. The waves were a bit rough, and we were left to fend for ourselves while everyone else was paddling away. One wave actually knocked my husband down under the kayak. Rian finally came back and helped get us on the water, but we were both a little shook up by the experience. But it certainly didn't ruin the day! The entire tour was fantastic and well worth the cost. Tips: Wear water shoes or rent the booties - you will get wet! Bring your own waterproof camera case or purchase one for photos. Wear sunscreen even if it's cloudy! Use a cord on your glasses or sunnies so you don't lose them to the sea.
Beautiful rainy day!
We had the best time and could have stayed out all day (even with the rain and waves). The guides made us feel very comfortable and safe. If I ever have the opportunity for a return visit, this will be a must-do activity.
The Full Irish Experienxe
My husband and I had less than ideal weather but an amazingly ideal tour experience with Matty! Our tour was impromptu just based on weather but we got to see the amazing sea cliffs, different beach/ sea caves, and incredible wild life. Our guide was super informative and fun to be around. His love for travel, new experience, and various water crafts was a great accent to an already beautiful tour. My husband and I are so glad we went through with our experience even in rainy weather.
Rough and adventurous.
The experience was great and the tour guides were awesome. It was thrilling to kayak in the sea. My advice for people who take this trip is arrive 45 minutes early than the trip advisor time.
