Okay day
Nice day that allows you to discover Andalusia and its culture. Ronda is a pretty town but I remain disappointed; I was expecting more charm and authenticity. Only the view below the bridge is really worth a look. The white villages are nice and full of charm but it is a shame that we did not have a guided tour of the towns. I am also disappointed not to have been able to visit the medieval part in Zahara. Regarding the visit to the olive oil producer, it remains uninteresting, apart from making us buy. Indeed, I was expecting a guided tour of the premises, a walk among the olive trees, explanations on the production of olive oil, etc., but we only had a tasting. However, the olive oil was delicious!
Highly recommend .
Great visit to olive oil farm, white villages and Ronda. Our guide was Miguel who was knowledgable of the area. The time spent in the white villages was plentiful as was time to explore Ronda. The only negative point was that the minibus air conditioning was on low and it was very hot on board . This was brought up by a member of the group who was sitting at the rear of the bus but was not turned up ? We sat at front of bus and could see the air con display noting” low fan “so could have easily been actioned to make the trip more enjoyable for the group at the rear of the bus. Long day so wear comfortable shoes .
Trip to Ronda
Beautiful trip to Ronda and passing by the mountains of the region gave us an amazing view. Manuela, the guide was very knowledgeable. We had a good time during the tour. We highly recommended as must visit.
It costs a lot, it's worth little.
Excursion to two insignificant villages and to Ronda (in the latter case, without a guide). Guide who spoke terrible Italian. The only concern: guiding the purchases, leading the participants to an oil mill with an attached shop and to a specific restaurant for lunch.
Scam because it's unfeasible
The white villages are nice but don't buy the monumental pass for Ronda because it's a scam. The time given on-site does not allow you to visit the different places offered with the pass at all. The guide confirmed to us that it should be removed from sale. We just saw the bridge and the waterfall without even having time to go down to see it from below, even though we are athletic. The guide assured us that we would be refunded for the supplement, but that was not the case at all. We totally advise against the monumental pass as well as Viator! It was the first and last time.
