It was an great experience throughout the weekend
Good day out
Alex was an entertaining and knowledgeable host driver. Day ran to the advertised schedule. We did not feel rushed, had plenty of time to look around at our stops. Bus was comfortable and clean.
Sea to Sky day tour, Vancouver to Whistler.
Starting from Vancouver waterfront, we had the absolute pleasure of boarding Jason (fountain of knowledge) Southern’s very comfortable coach. Throughout the 10hr tour Jason provided a smooth, exciting and highly informative tour. Stopping off at several view points for a rest and photos, we made our way firstly to the sea to sky gondola for wonderful breathtaking scenery ride. From here a short distance to Whistler which is during the summer months a mountain climbing and cycling heaven and a wonderful pretty skiing village consisting of lots of gift / merchandise shops, but especially the scenery is beautiful. During the return journey Jason stopped into Shannon Falls waterfall, here proved to be the icing on top of an already wonderful day with the very up close and personal view of our first black bear sighting, not forgetting the beautiful picturesque Shannon waterfalls. What an experience!
What can I say? An outstanding day out and, if you're lucky enough to have Jason as your guide, it's the icing on the cake. Knowledgeable, professional, caring, friendly and entertaining, Jason made the trip extra special - a real credit to Westcoast Sightseeing. And, to top it all off, a bear encounter at the end of the day on the last stop at Shannon Falls. A wonderful experience!
