This tour shows off the BEST waterfalls and views near Asheville in only a half day! Your guide is an expert naturalist, ready to point out fascinating wildlife and plants along the trails. You will end the tour feeling inspired by the scenery and the stories! Visit both the biggest waterfalls and also “off the beaten path” waterfalls in Pisgah National Forest, home to 250+ waterfalls. We explore the stunning trails of Pisgah National Forest and the iconic Blue Ridge Parkway for a total of 4 1/2 hours. Once entering the National Forest, you will hike to 3+ waterfalls for a total distance of 3 miles, taking in stunning Appalachian scenery and even tasting edible plants along the way. Wrap up your tour with endless views of mountain peaks and fertile valleys along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, and bring an extra layer to wear. Waters and snacks may be purchased at the meeting place at the beginning of your tour.
