Itinerary
Embark on this well-paced full-day experience that will take you from Barcelona city center to the heart of Barcelona’s countryside. Departing early in the morning from Barcelona's North Station, your first destination will be the scenic Monastery of Montserrat. A whole morning of astounding landscape, views and history await in there. After enjoying a one-hour-long tour through the highlights of Montserrat Monastery, you will have more than two hours of free time (with the 8.30am option, 1.5 hours with the 9.45am option). Your guide will advise on all your options depending on your interests and, so that you can make the most of your time in Montserrat.
Enjoy a full traditional Catalan lunch, followed by a visit to a 10th-century castle turned winery and a tasting of their wonderful wines. Then, elevate your experience with exclusive VIP access to the aging room, where the estate’s finest wines mature, and indulge in an additional tasting of exceptional wines straight from their barrels.

Good to know
- Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the option). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
- Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
- The tour is conducted in English.
- Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
- The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
- Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
- Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
- We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
- Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.

I had a full day tour from 9.45 am, returning at 7.30 pm, visiting Montserrat, with admission to the basilica shrine of the black Madonna, leaving later for a winery where we had a three course lunch (excellent) and a visit to the winery with wine tasting. My guide, Montse, was knowledgeable, attentive and helpful throughout. She has a natural charm that makes her perfect for her role. Montserrat itself is beautiful, and the walk to the cross on the hill opposite the Monastery, provided an additional challenge (it's quite steep) which I was pleased to have undertaken and managed, during our free time. A full day providing stunning views and a visit to a unique place embedded in Catalan culture. Highly recommended!

This Montserrat and castle winery tour is a must do experience. I can't speak highly enough of our guide, Yerai, who was knowledgeable and ensured we all went home with wonderful memories of this beautiful part of Spain. Montserrat is an amazing place rich in history, culture and architecture. We also booked tickets separately and saw the boys choir, and the performance was worth the logistics on the day. The castle winery is a great backdrop for the wine tour and lunch. We enjoyed the lunch and selection of wines included in the the tour, as well as the wine tasting. We had free time to soak up the superb weather over a farewell glass of wine ( optional at own cost). I recommend this tour if you want to experience more than what Barcelona has to offer. Montserrat and winery tour
Berta was very knowledgeable and social. Probably one of the best tour I ever did. I highly recommend it. It was so fun and we appreciated the long free times we had.
