Traveler reviews
Informative, entertaining, and efficient
GREAT narrated 3 hour tour hitting all the National Mall highlights. Ask for Sally and driver Godfrey. Sally was a wealth of trivia and knowledge. Godfrey can get that bus in anywhere! Day and night, DC is crawling with buses; other tour groups, TONS of junior high kids, etc. Sally and Godfrey have the autonomy to re-order stops based on current or anticipated crowds at any particular location, reducing wait time and still not missing anything - making for a more enjoyable and efficient tour. This is THE bus tour to see all the major monuments.
A wonderful history lesson
I would definitely recommend this tour. It was very thorough as we stopped at many remarkable monuments. The tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The sites are breathtaking!
Family trip
Chris was our driver and Tyrone was our guide…they both took great care of us. It’s was informative and well done. We took our grandchildren and they learned and loved it.
Bad Cherry Blossom Tour
Check in was confusing. Optional, paid for vouchers, were not issued. Countless calls, texts, emails and chats were not helpful. We paid for a 3 hour tour but we were put on an 8 hour tour bus and dismissed after our 3 hours were up. Clearly our small 3 hour group was not a priority for the tour guide. When I asked him about our optional vouchers, he gave me a phone number and told to call and they would send them to me. No answer or return call. We never got any vouchers sent to us via email or text so that was all money wasted and we went back home. Signature tours were not helpful at all.
Great tour, but...
Lots of stops long enough to take lot lots of pictures. Friendly driver, excellent tour guide. Only reason it's 4 stars is that it clearly said it would drop us off at the Archives, and it did not, forcing my husband with cancer to walk farther than he should have to get back to our transportation.
