Following pickup from the Wanaka Lakefront Car Park, we’ll stroll down to the lakeside for that iconic photo of the Wānaka Tree. Soak in the beauty of this expansive lake, backdropped by Mt Aspiring and the Southern Alps—a paradise for photographers.

Best Way To Travel Wanaka to Franz Josef

A superb guided journey from Wanaka to Franz Josef. The driver / guide (Jonathan) was amazing, providing an informative description of key sights as well as very safe driving habits. The weather was attrocious, but the journey still interesting and the stops worth doing. Lunch at The Hard Anchor in Haast was included. All of the others in the Group had joined in Queenstown.
