Getting guided tour very difficult. Tour comes as package: ie apartments and garden access: only wanted apartments. You buy a tour from another company (Paris Tours) who provide the guide. They were very good and guide was excellent.
Do not book
Do not book this tour. The company charges you but takes no responsibility. We were late because apparently train line C wasn’t working and despite leaving our hotel 2 hours before the tour started we weren’t able to make it to Versailles meeting point on time. I would want to at least have an opportunity to receive a physical ticket for palace entrance because I PAID for that ticket! But no, you miss the tour-you miss everything. Obviously you are held hostage to the tour. I have received messages and phone calls from previous booked tours but nobody tried to contact me from this one. Would have been nice. Very disappointed
Highly recommended tour
Such a great organised tour! A must do when visiting Versailles. Booking this tour is a good way to cut the long lines to enter. Our guide was Olivia and she is amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She provided an informative tour and gave us many helpful tips/advice of where to explore after the tour ended. Definitely recommend this tour!
