Itinerary
Pass by: Meeting point: 5 minutes away from Castelvecchio
Enjoy a pleasant walk through Verona lanes, in the company of a small group of people and our expert local tour guide. We will depart from the city center to start discover lanes, streets and squares of our city, with several stops to admire from outside the most important monuments.Castelvecchio and its Scaligero Bridge, then Bra square and the roman Arena amphitheater.
It connects the Verona’s late-medieval castle to the Adige’s left bank. It was almost destroyed in a bombing and later fully rebuilt looking precisely similar to the original one.
Pass by: The street takes its name from Porta Borsari, the street is one of the most elegant and characteristic of Verona, as well as being one of the most exclusive for shopping
Discover this unique square, it was the Forum, centre of city life during Roman times. The centre of the square contains the monuments that symbolise the different rulers of Verona: the most famous is the fountain, built during Scaligeri rule.
You will listen our local tour guide telling you ancient legends and tales from the past about Juliet and the magic balcony, roman and medieval lanes and the lifestyle of our fellow citizens inside the old town wall.
The city walking will end in Piazza Bra. You'll have a quick pause before the Arena guided tour.
Pass by: The "Piazza dei Signori" was the former centre of power in Verona. A large statue by the famous Italian poet Dante Alighieri has dominated the square since 1865 and gave the square the nickname “Piazza Dante”.
Follow your guide through the old city center and discover the famous sights of the ancient Roman Arena. Enter the ancient amphitheatre and listen interesting stories about it. You have included the guided visit and ticket skip the line.
