Itinerary
Pass by: Your kids walking tour starts here, next to the fountain in front of the Church of San Zaccaria. A convenient meeting point situated in a quieter area.
The tour will move on to St. Mark's Square, renowned as one of the world's most magnificent squares and a celebrated landmark of Venice, nestled in the heart of the lagoon, known as one of the coolest spots in Venice! It's like stepping into a storybook world right in the middle of the city. It is dominated by the grand St. Mark Basilica with lots of fancy decorations (even some golden horses on top!), and the Doge's Palace where the old-timey leaders used to live.
In Campo San Bartolomeo, you’ll see Casanova’s haunts, beautiful churches and magnificent works of art. Children will be amazed by this city built on water and its creative modes of transport.
Your tour designed for kids and familie will end in the Rialto distric. So often families struggle to find ways to make travel meaningful for their children. This child-centered 2- hours tour of Venice is a great introduction to a city of ancient wonders. With a local English-speaking guide, art, history and culture come alive in a dynamic educational format. Experience the rhythms of local life as you make your leisurely way among the waterways and narrow streets of this historic region. From bustling Rialto Bridge and Market to Piazza San Marco, lively merchants to strolling musicians, Venice is a feast for the senses.

Great tour of Venice....
Great tour of Venice. Simonetta did a great job making it accessible and fun for the kids (3 and 7) while still giving us parents good info on the history of the city. Would recommend!
Great tour for a family in Venice
Our tour guide, Julia was amazing! She took us off the beaten path and we saw all the lovely side streets of Venice that gives it its charm. We saw a ton and walked a good distance but the kids didn’t even notice because they were so engaged in the conversation.the pace of the tour was customized for our family and it made for a special day.
A family friendly walking tour of Venice
Julia was amazing! We were a family of 9: 5 adults, 2 teens and an active 5- Year old. Julia engaged the 5- yr old at the start. We had planned a 2-hour walking tour through Venice with her. Julia was very knowledgeable, interesting and personable. She lives in Venice with her family and shared many interesting facts about living in Venice. I highly recommend her and her services.
Highly recommend this family tour!
Wonderful Tour of Venice! We are a large family of 10 with 5 children ages 8 to 18. Giulia was great at engaging young and old alike. We went to the main sights along with others away from the hordes of people and more shaded areas, which was a relief! Our guide always had a smile on her face which was contagious! Everyone agreed it was a great tour. Thank you, Gullia (Julia😍)
Amazing way to start your trip to Venice!
We had an amazing tour with Julia! She was warm and engaging as a guide. She pointed out all the major sights but also the small things that really gave you a sense for the local culture. My son loved seeing the local elementary school as we walked by, and was fascinated when she pointed out the ambulances (which are boats of course!). She kindly made recommendations for restaurants to try during our trip and really tailored the tour to our interests. It’s clear she loves her city and by the end of the tour we were in love too! Highly recommend this tour for families looking for a good orientation to Venice.
