Traveler reviews
Horrible experience. Hard pass on this one.
Horrible overpriced experience. Tour operator failed to provide the correct tickets so we were not able to enter the palace with the group. Had to buy another ticket in my own. Very disappointed with how the tour operator and Viator handled the issue.
Thank you Savina
I loveee the experience, my guide Savina was the best, the basilica itself is so bautiful but with a guide is even better.

Key Venice Landmarks in a Nutshell
St. Mark’s Basilica was absolutely magnificent, and joining a guided tour made the experience so much more meaningful. The historical context and stories brought the basilica to life. A headset was provided, which was great as we could clearly hear the guide throughout the tour. The visit to Doge’s Palace was equally insightful. I would definitely recommend seeing it with a guide, as the explanations about the purpose, significance, and history of each room added so much depth to the experience. The glassmaking demonstration at the end felt a little touristy and wasn’t really the highlight of the day for us. That said, there was no pressure to buy anything, which we appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this tour as it covers all the key highlights and provides valuable historical insight that you would likely miss on your own. Unfortunately, I can’t remember our guide’s name, but she was Italian, incredibly knowledgeable, and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
