Redemption point nowhere near planned start
This was our second gondola ride and booking the ride through TripAdvisor was straight forward, but we did specifically ask to start near the Rialto Bridge. After being sent on a bit of a wild goose chase to find the redemption point to get the tickets, we found it was nowhere near where we asked to start, so was actually disappointing. The ride is still a very magical experience, its just a shame it was so confusing to redeem the voucher and start somewhere completely different 😕
Not the best experience…but beautiful nonetheless
I understood this was a private gondola but we had to share with a newlywed couple. They herded us on like cattle, the gondolier didn’t speak to us at all and he was on his cell phone most of the time, and the canal was PACKED with boats. Luckily Venice is undeniably magical and seeing it from the canals was beautiful and memorizing—we took beautiful pictures and it was a good memory for our trip!

Great gondola tour
It was on time .. it was not difficult to find the meeting point . The view was amazing .. in fact there was gondola traffic
Gondola needs
The gondola could be freshened up. The chair onboard was broken. Cushions need to be replaced
