Very organised. Easy...
Very organised. Easy getting ticket and on time Regular service to Venice from airport and easy getting in and off
Simple and quick
Simple and quick, you go to the Alilaguna counter, show the voucher, and they give you the tickets.
It’s a voucher for a round tip ticket . . .
Firstly, this voucher worked as advertised. It is what it says; a round trip ticket on a water taxi. However, it is defiinitely cheaper to buy the ticket directly at the Alilaguna ticket office. Also, and this was my understanding, this is simply a round trip ticket. You can only go from one station to another which in our case was Venice Airport to Venice. You cannot get back on and go to another stop. That requires another ticket. For example, we wanted to go from the airport to Murano, then to Lido and then back to the airport. This is not an “all day” or “hop on hop off” type of ticket. To be clear, it is not advertised as such. It is a round trip ticket. Hopefully you will not misunderstand it as I did. The service is OK. There are few, if any, announcements. You may also wait up to an hour to get on a taxi if the lines are long.
Inexpensive tour of Venice and Murano if you have the time!
Make sure to give yourself 2 hours before your 2 hour departure at the airport. The waterbus stops at least 6 times around Venice before a stop at Murano. It’s a great way to see the island without a guide but if you’re in a hurry know you need that 2 hours. The meeting point can be a bit confusing but the local taxi folks pointed us in the right direction once in the neighborhood.
Venice trip
Efficient service well run. No hassle exchanging voucher for tickets. Waited a short time for boat. Fab experience
