- Unforeseen events= The Vatican is its own country and therefore the Pope can decide also last minute to close St. Peter’s Basilica for ad hoc events. It is a very rare event during the year but it is possibile and we will do our best to inform you. If it is too late to inform you, our guide will extend the tour in the Vatican. Not to worry that the incredibile collection of Vatican Museums and the masterpiece of Michelagelo in the Sistine Chapel will still be included.
- Most of our tours include the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. However, there are two specific options with different inclusions. You will find below:
- Museums & SISTINE CHAPEL Tour – Includes the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel but does NOT include St. Peter’s Basilica.
- ST.PETER'S BASILICA TOUR – Includes St. Peter’s Basilica but does NOT include the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel.

Carl was the BEST tour guide for the Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St Peters Basilica!
This was our 2nd 3 hour walking tour of the day so we were lacking energy but Carl made ot impossible not to be excited and laughing! He is hands down the best tour guide we have ever had (and is the only actual spacialy aware guide)! He was great at explaining exactly what to expect before entering each space and was very personable. The tour was pricey but so worth it!! While we are at the tail end of our time in Rome, we wish we coule book Carl for every tour around town!

Misleading
The headline is misleading as you don’t get access to the Sistine chapel Or museusm. Also even tho we had the skip the line Que. we were made to join the regular free Que and Qued in the heat for over an hour. Had about 15 min in the basilica with the tour guide. Crazy.
Rushed in Rome
Our tour was supposed to be for three hours and our guide rushed us through the experience and we finished in 90 minutes. We paid for a private tour. That is simply unacceptable.
