So much fun!

Cameron was an excellent tour guide! The boat ride was fun, even my kids enjoyed the trip. We saw a lot of seals, great scenic stops along the Vancouver coast, and even spotted a couple whales towards the end in the water!

Definitely worth it!

This was an amazing way to spend our afternoon. Captain Dave was (is) awesome! He shared a lot of interesting information and stories throughout the 90 minute trip. Definitely worth the price and one of our favorite memories from Vancouver.

Sunning seals, high speed and laughter

Captain Mark was brilliant. Great, laid back guide who treated us to lots of local knowledge, visits to seals lounging in the sun and he spotted a bald eagle for us hanging out in a tree. The speed of the boat was exhilarating, especially sat up front. Our two teenagers (16 and 18) loved it, laughed hysterically most of the way thanks to the splashes and high speed and said it was the highlight of their trip to Canada. Thanks Mark, we had a blast.

Best Experience

We had the best experience with our guide! We saw seals, bald eagles and even a humped back whale. Would definitely recommend! Bring warm clothes even if it’s hot out.

Fun Experience -- Great Sights, Rough Ride

I thoroughly enjoyed the views and the tour. I especially loved seeing the seals and sea birds. The boat itself -- a high-speed rubber raft -- was unexpected. Prince of Whales is insistent about people signing a waiver that indicates you understand and accept responsibility for the risks involved and confirming that you have had no recent surgeries, back injuries, etc. I thought that was merely the work of some overzealous lawyer protecting their interests, but the reality is that the speedboat ride is bone-jarring, as you slam down repeatedly from swells and the wake from other boats -- and the seas were relatively calm today. That said, the boat is small enough that there are no bad seats. Unfortunately, wildfire smoke dimmed views that otherwise would have been breathtaking.
