Wide choice of wines to taste
Ben was our guide and very knowledgeable and charming. We had a comprehensive tour of four wineries and a cheese tasting. The wineries were all good with Puddleduck outstanding - included a lovely lunch. Ben dropped all of us back at our hotels. An extra bonus. The wineries are different on every tour. Cheese tasting ok. Very few cheeses on offer.
Don't skip brekky before an all day wine tour!!
This tour was a wonderful intro to the beautiful wines which Tasmania are known for. We covered four wineries in the Coal Valley area and had a lovely lunch at Puddleduck Estate A quick stopover at Wicked Cheese Factory was delightful and allowed us to purchase some local goodies. A late cancellation meant that my partner and I were the only two on this tour so we had a very comfortable and luxurious mini van with Ben as our personalised driver.
Great day amongst the vines.
Visited 4 cellar Doors and Wicked cheese shop. Garren our driver/operator was fantastic. Great knowledge of the wines and the region. Each cellar door we were greeted and treated exceptionally well. Wines tasted were great and loved the cheeses. Very nice lunch at Puddleduck.
A great day, well worth it!
This was a fantastic day out. To start with Daniel was a great tour guide, his energy and attitude was warm and welcoming. Not only was he lovely but his knowledge of the wineries and the area was great, and he spoke with passion. The wineries we went to were a great mix of older and newer wineries. The service we received at each was also of a very high standard. The lunch at Puddleduck was delicious too. Such a great day, highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice day out with delicious wines.
Great intro to Tasmanian wines
Had a great time on this tour. Everything from booking to the day itself was well organised and well done. The selection of wineries was perfect ... had something for everyone. My favourite was Nocton. The pace of the day, amount of driving, etc, was really good and able to see a bit more of Tasmania. Garren, our guide for the day, was extremely knowledgeable about wines in general and those at the winery we visited and made the day really enjoyable. Highly recommend.
