Pros: Studio Backlots tour.( California location only) Cons: Overpriced on everything. You have to walk back to the entrance to eat at the popular fast food places and after eating go through the main entrance line again. You spend 60 mins or more waiting in line for a ride only to have the ride last 30 seconds. (Harry Potter ride) You think your going to sit for a moment cool off, so you go to a sit down show? Think again, one show was 10 mins another was 5 mins after waiting 20 mins in line. No places to sit in the park and no shade . Harry Potter section was the only place that had places to sit. The main ticket prices are too high for the California location because your only getting about a 1/4 of the size compared to the Florida location. Good luck if your a family of 4 or more and your not rich, between the admission, VIP passes and all the other add on prices, your wallet will be empty when you leave the park. Adults can control their spending but lets just say I saw a lot of crying kids. A bottle of water was probably the cheapest thing in the park and that was 7 dollars.

Disastrous experiment A crazy world in a small space. I often go to amusement parks, and I have never had such a bad experience! No gauge for the number of visitors. Fast and furious queues of up to 150 minutes for a ride! We can't make it through the alleys of the park. Horrible. Attractions are surely good but how do you know when you can hardly do it? And besides, finally look closely because there are few attractions... The ones I did were, indeed, good. We had taken the dining pass with our tickets. We had to make several restaurants so that we could be given the card to prove that we had bought this offer, because no restaurant had them. Please review your organization. Once lunch is ordered at Café Minion: no table available, not even a bench, and people who book tables when they have no meals and are sitting alone at a large table... We report the problem to the cashier of this restaurant who replies that he can do nothing! An employee should ensure that people can only sit down if they have a meal. So people ate the tray meal on the garbage! The hygienic level is not great. We ended up sitting on the floor of the fast food restaurant so we could eat. While others sit at tables WITHOUT meals. This is shameful. So yes, the scenery is nice , but we haven’t seen well since there are so many people moving around that we can’t see much, and it’s difficult to stop because the flow is intense and the human is not yet equipped with flashing lights to signal that we are turning or stopping. Restaurants in the park often close at 8pm. It’s too early.

This is a must do. My favourite thing was the universal studios tour. You take in a 60-90 minute tour of where some majorly iconic films and programs are made. The attention to details throughout the park is amazing and every detail is thought of. There are only a few rides and there is a big push for the VIP or queue jump passes which are very expensive. The fast and furious ride got up to a 3 hour wait. The others were more manageable. The food provided in the park is what you’d expect from a theme park and was in my opinion expensive for what you get. A smaller park with only a few rides so not the best for extreme thrill seekers but a thoroughly enjoyable day out.

Waited 80 minutes in line for the Mario Kart ride and all 3 of us were extremely disappointed at how awful it was. Not sure why so many people gush about that attraction. It was like playing a boring, pointless video game for a few minutes. The sweltering heat makes it less and less enjoyable visiting amusement parks in the summer. I regretted not doing the studio tour. Maybe that would have made the experience more enjoyable. The rides themselves are not worth the price and wait times. Food options are poor too.
