Know before you book
- You will need a valid passport and a visa to enter Botswana. You can get a visa on arrival for USD $30, or you can apply for a KAZA visa, which allows you to visit Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana for 30 days
- You will be accompanied by a professional guide who will ensure your safety and satisfaction. You will also have a personal driver who will transport you to and from the airport and between the destinations.
- Check the best time to visit Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park based on your preferences for weather, wildlife sightings, and available activities. The dry season (May to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing, while the wet season (November to April) offers impressive water levels at Victoria Falls.
- This is a 3-day adventure that includes visits to Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park, two of Africa’s most spectacular attractions.
- You will enjoy a variety of activities, such as a sunset cruise, a train ride, a boat safari, and a guided tour of the falls. You can also choose your own activity on the last day, such as a helicopter ride, a microlight, or a bungee jump.

My group of 6 used Alwa Africa for our recent trip to Victoria Falls. Our guide and host, Lance, was phenomenal! He took care of all details and made our 3+ day stay truly memorable and stress-free. From the moment we arrived, Lance made our visit relaxing and enjoyable. He provided or arranged for all transportation, set up all activities including a helicopter tour of the falls, a Zambezi River cruise, Boma and Drum dinner, visit to Victoria Falls National Park, and a day trip into Zambia for a game drive and rhino walk. He also made restaurant recommendations and reservations and even took our group to the grocery store. His knowledge and love of the area is exceptional. Lance was always punctual as well as flexible when our plans changed. His attention to detail was second to none. Plus, he truly is the nicest guy you could ever meet! If you're planning a trip to Victoria Falls, do yourself a favor and book with Lance of Alwa Africa. Lance organized our entire itinerary and the experience was seamless from start to finish. He handled every detail of our trip including a private Victoria Falls tour, helicopter flight, Zambezi River cruise, Rhino game drive, and the Boma & Drum dinner show. He also handled our meals and transportation which made our visit completely worry-free. Additionally, he offered to organize our 3 day/2 night camping safari in Chobe (Botswana) but regrettably I had already booked that before I found Alwa Africa (that would have been one less thing to worry about if I had found him first). Lance’s communication was stellar throughout the process and he was so genuinely kind he felt like family by the end. On top of the exceptional service, his pricing was very reasonable compared to other operators in the area. Five stars isn't enough!!! An Unforgettable Experience in Zimbabwe! We used Alwa to book our sunset cruise, helicopter ride, tour of Victoria Falls, Boma and Drum dinner, and day trip to Zambia. Our guide, Lance, made the trip stress-free by coordinating all our activities and providing transportation to EVERYTHING. He was instrumental in making sure we got everywhere we needed to be on time and took care of all reservations for our restaurants and excursions. Having him as a personal host made all the difference in our vacation. We couldn’t have maneuvered our day trip to Zambia without him. He made sure that we made our way through immigration going in and out of Zambia and set up reputable transportation for the day. In addition, he set up the Rhino Walk, lunch reservations at the Livingston Hotel, and reservations for the Devil’s Pool (book early as it sells). What truly stood out was how genuinely attentive he was. He was flexible as our group of 6 made last minute changes. As time allowed, he was able to add a couple sites that weren’t on our agenda, took us grocery shopping, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, always ensuring our safety, comfort, and happiness. We didn't just see Zimbabwe; we truly experienced it, thanks to Lance. He totally took the stress out of maneuvering Zimbabwe and Zambia for the first time.
