Full description

Chicago is a city of innovation, and it doesn't hold back when it comes to food! On this tour, you’ll eat your way through Chicago's former meatpacking district-turned-dining destination, sampling everything from deep dish to donuts. Learn the rags-to-riches story of the area, and how a celebrity and hard-working local restauranteurs turned it around. From market stalls to pastry shops and everything in between, you'll experience the best food the West Loop has to offer in one epic morning.
Stop At: Lou Malnati's Pizzeria
Description: There’s no better way to begin a food tour of Chicago than with a quintessential classic: deep-dish pizza. To fuel this journey through the West Loop, your small group will start with a slice of tomato-filled, cheesy goodness at the oldest family name in Chicago pizza.
Admission: Included
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: The Corned Beef Factory Sandwich Shop
Description: As you roam through the neighborhood, you’ll learn about West Loop’s “rags-to-riches” history and how American icon Oprah Winfrey was involved in its renaissance. In a nod to the area’s meatpacking district past, your next food stop specializes in corned beef sandwiches. Taste this classic working man’s lunch right around the corner from where the corned beef was prepared!
Admission: Included
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Time Out Market Chicago
Description: Then you'll wander over to to the Time Out Market. Opened in 2019, the market has given up-and-coming chefs the opportunity to try out their craft before opening restaurants of their own. These days, it’s one of the most popular spots to be out and about in West Loop. You'll swing by one of its most delicious stalls to try an unforgettable homemade bite.
Admission: Included
Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Do-Rite Donuts & Chicken West Loop
Description: Time for something sweet! Moving on to gourmet desserts, next on the menu is an age-old favorite: old-fashioned donuts. You'll try yours at an artisanal donut shop owned by two former pastry chefs who met working at a Michelin Star restaurant.
