Ubud Private Highlights Tour

Today I had Gede as my guide/driver/photographer. As a solo female traveller he made me feel very safe and comfortable. He was an excellent driver and I felt safe at all times. I didn’t feel rushed and we finished the day at exactly the planned time. I highly recommend this trip, I can’t believe how much we packed in in one day. I didn’t realise just how spectacular the waterfall attraction would be. I would recommend taking swimwear to make the most of it. The whole day was simply stunning, the explanation of the history, the culture and the religion, you don’t get that from reading, you have to see it. There is so much achieved in this one day!

We booked a one-day trip to Ubud and we had a wonderful time. Our guide, Rio, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His explanations helped us understand important aspects of Bali’s history and culture. We fully recommend this trip, which included visits of a temple, the monkey forest, the rice terrace and a waterfall. For such a trip and any other excursions around Bali we highly recommend Rio.

We were picked up at 8.45 from our hotel by Gede who was really friendly. We were given a choice of what art we wanted to visit. I chose paintings and jewellery. We also visited a temple. They gave us beautiful sarongs to wear and the men also wore a head scarf. The tour was great. Gede took so many great family photos and videos of us throughout the day which were super and will be lovely memories. We visited a waterfall which had beautiful views and was a great experience. Lots of steps up and down but great exercise! We then had lunch in a beautiful restaurant with a rice field attached. Food was good quality and saw a cat too! We went to visit the monkeys, it was more busy there. Gede walked us around and we saw lots of monkeys. Our last visit was to a rice terrace. The kids enjoyed going on a zip line. We did lots of walking up and down. Views were good. All day there were toilets at the attractions and we were given free bottled water throughout the day. The car was comfortable. We all had a super day full of culture.

We had a fantastic one-day tour around Ubud and would highly recommend it, especially with our guide Kawi! Kawi was very professional, friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable throughout the entire day. He took the time to explain the history, culture, and especially the local environment and nature at each location, which made the experience much more interesting and personal. During the tour, we visited: * Art Villages * Batuan Temple * Tegenungan Waterfall * Tegalalang Rice Terrace * Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary * Coffee Plantation Kawi was also very accommodating and adjusted the tour to our preferences without making us feel rushed. His friendly personality and local knowledge made us feel comfortable from the beginning. We really enjoyed the entire trip and got to see many beautiful and interesting places in and around Ubud in just one day. Kawi definitely contributed a lot to making this a memorable experience.
