Itinerary
This unique and sacred place is a must see place in Ubud. There are many wild life inside the thick forest. Walk along the path under the shade and see many birds, lizards, butterflies and monkeys among the trees. It is a perfect set for the real wild life. There are 3 sacred temples to balance this area. Local people usually come to pray on a special ceremony day.
Fabulous scenes of the green rice paddies. Stroll through the famous rice fields. See how the farmers do their daily activities, and after the walk, dine in a small restaurant with wonderful views of the jungle and the Tegalalang valley.
Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

Great time with Komang - our guide
We had a fun time. Komang was a great guide and explained to us the significance of each place, took amazing pictures for us and adjusted itinerary according to the weather. He even got us rice farmer equipment for the pictures. We could not have asked for a better time. Komang went above and beyond. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for a guide that is highly knowledgeable and has a great attitude!
The best Bali experience!
We highly suggest Adik as a professional driver/tour guide! We started our day with Adik arriving on time at 7am, he right away asked us what we would like to do 1st, so he could make sure it was as special as possible. This amazing experience will last us a life time we have no doubt! Our first visit was to a gorgeous waterfall followed by a sacred monkey forest, followed by seeing amazingly beautiful craftsmanship wood carvings made by local artisans, we travelled to the rice terraces for lunch where we were able to climb the levels followed by a famous Bali swing, followed by helping us with a prayer ceremony at a water temple. Which in itself was extremely special. Our final stop was a beautiful coffee plantation and the drive home. The whole time we felt safe with his driving skills and his polite attitude and kindness made us at ease. The whole time Adik gave us options of different experiences, to ensure our line ups would be minimal. Because of this we waited minutes for the Bali swing, had no congestion in the water while doing our prayers and received the best service everywhere we went. We appreciate the thoughtfulness that he put into our experience and appreciate him very much. We highly suggest him and would certainly go back to him for any tour we would like to do again!
