- Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair
- Vegetarian & gluteen free, can be accommodated, please advise at time of booking under special requirements.
- Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
- Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
- Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
- Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
- Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
- For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

A beautiful set up
This was absolutely beautiful set up amongst vineyards and olive trees. You could eat at a table inside or outside or a picnic set up amongst the vineyards. An absolute must do if visiting the area. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Was great
Was a great day out, the guide and bus driver were great, very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The wine tasting was fantastic and we learned a lot from the winery staff who were also very informative and generous with the tasting
Great wine in beautiful surroundings
The tour operators have a very efficient check-in process to assign you to the correct bus. The small-group (25 or less) made our experience at each winery very pleasant -- not a long wait time in between each wine tasting, easy for staff to serve our small group quickly. Our tour guide, Marco was great - passionate and educational. Our driver, Alex was funny and kept us safe on those winding roads. Overall, we had a really lovely afternoon/evening.
Fun day in the Tuscan countryside!
Meeting point was a bit of a hike, but the rest of the trip was great. Marco was informative and funny on our journey. The leaders at the wineries were very good to teach a little about their processes. There are light snacks with the wine, but don’t show up hungry.
