Best experience in Galway
Excellent experience, definitely will go again. Chris, our guide and one of the owners, lovely guy. We had best time of our lives!
A Must Do In Galway!
Absolutely highly recommend when in Galway, especially if you love gin! We had a private master class with one of the owners & can't say enough about how warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and engaging he is! Like making gin with a friend on a Thursday evening, as one does! We learned about how gin is made, the various flavors you can add and then created our own recipes to be distilled and bottled! They both turned out delicious! And you'll get a taste of their new, first for Ireland, tequila! Don't think about it, just book it - you'll be so happy you did!
What fun!
What a unique and informative experience! Paul was a great guide through our gin making experience. We produced two passable bottles of gin but had a great time doing it. The Tribe gin was great and the cocktails were flowing during the experience. Afterwards we popped over to the pub next door, which was an excellent recommendation by Paul. Definitely one of our most memorable Irish experiences!
An experience you don't want to miss!
Due to a Tribe scheduling situation, our class consisted of my husband and me. We didn't know what to expect when we registered to take the gin making class at Tribe Irish Gin. We were unsure when we followed GPS to the address indicated on the tickets. It is an unassuming building that definitely has a large "Tribe Irish Gin" sign next to the door but doesn't look like a distillery. Ciarán met us at the door and showed the way upstairs. My first reaction was "WOW!" The space is set up so well and is obviously a place where gin is distilled. One of the highlights was meeting Ciarán. His passion and energy were infectious. We talked about gin, Irish history (Ciarán is amazingly well-versed in both subjects), and many other things. When we got down to learning about the distillation process, Ciarán explained every step of the process. He explained all of the flavor choices we had (and there are many), and how they would affect the final product. We each brought home a 700 ml bottle of the gin we distilled. Of course, we bought a bottle of 'their' gin and a t-shirt. When you go to a class, and you must do that, ask your teacher how Tribe gin came to be. It's a very interesting journey.
My wife and I booked a gin making class with Tribe Gin. We had traveled all day/night from the US to Dublin and Tribe Gin worked with us for a time that met our travels so we could get some sleep that night. It was pouring rain and we were soaked. Paul met us at the door and we had a gin and tonic and tried to dry off. When we took our seats to learn more and make gin, he brought in a heater to warm us up. Paul was so nice and educational and we just had a blast. The whole experience was worth it and so well done. Book and enjoy. Thank you Paul for the awesome experience and memories.
