Great night of traditional music
We had a great night here a couple of weeks ago. We started in a pub in the Temple area. There were 2 great guys, who told us the story of true traditional Irish music and how it encompasses friends, family and communities. We moved on to a pub 'on the dark side' where there was more an audience participation where I so wish we had done our bit, so please if you take anything from this review is step up and do it because you will regret it. It was a brilliant night, great craic and they give you traditional reccomenpub on the dations for afterwards.
Great time in Dublin.
Did the Tradional Irish Musical Pub Crawl at the end of our 21st day on holiday in Scotland and Ireland. It was great to relax, have a pint and listen to some traditional music and storytelling. Highly recommend this experience.
Better than a pub crawl
Very enjoyable. Not a pub crawl but better than one. More like a relaxing few hours with music and some conversation. Recommend this.
A Crawl to Recall
Acerbic wit, erudition, and traditional Irish music go well with beer, and this event is generous with the first three. The fourth is on your own recognizance. Just about two hours of bagpipe and borran, vocals and concertina, and a good time all around. One advisory; you may be invited to conttribute a song. We were informed that in Ireland such an invitation cannot be declined.
We found the music...
We found the music delightful and the 2 pubs fun to visit. Steps did make this a bit challenging for my husband, but we were VERY glad we did it. We are not Sri Orrs but still had fun!
