Traveler reviews
Good service, but you can also to buy tickets from machines in station.
Everything was how that I aspect. Was need to find location from where to pick up the tickets. Thanks.
Inconvenient process
I purchased my Shinkansen (bullet train) tickets through Viator, expecting a more convenient experience, but I was disappointed by the ticket pickup process. I was required to travel to a separate third-party location the day before departure to collect the tickets. This added unnecessary time and inconvenience to my trip. Had I known this requirement in advance, I would have simply purchased the tickets directly at the train station, which would have been easier and just as effective. I did not see any real benefit or added value from using Viator for this purchase. The train ride itself was excellent, but the ticket fulfillment process through Viator was inconvenient and not clearly worth the extra step. I would recommend that future travelers carefully review the pickup requirements before booking.
