Fun, Delicious Food, Great Entertainment

We had a great time at the Toa Luau! We went on a Thursday evening. The surroundings were beautiful, the food was good, the dancing was well done and full of energy, the emcee was fun and informative. A family with 2 little children sat at our table. We had a good visit with them. We thoroughly enjoyed it all! The luau provided a gluten free meal for two in our family who both have Celiac Disease. We arrived early enough to walk to the falls and take a quick dip in the water but didn’t have much time to get changed. We should have allowed 2+ hours instead of just an hour and a half to experience the garden and falls. The falls and pool below were so pretty but very crowded. Thankfully the shuttle ($10/person cash) saved us time and allowed us to get to the luau area on time. Seating started promptly at 5:00 and ended at 8:00.

Disappointed

This was my first luau and I was super disappointed. My son, who was with me, had been to another luau and agreed. There was no fire knife dancing as expected or mentioned in the description. It was a lot of talking. Very boring. It was an hour 1/2 into the luau before we were fed. It was an expensive venture for little return. Don’t recommend. Find another one.

Amazing experience at Toa Luau

Amazing experience! Walking through Waimea Valley and swimming in the waterfall was a great way to start the day before the luau. Once we finished walking through the valley (included with the ticket for the luau), we got to go into the luau, get drinks, and participate in cultural activities. The staff was amazing! After the activities, we were served an amazing dinner and got to watch the dances and hear about different Polynesian cultures. The food was delicious!!! Overall, amazing luau experience! We went to two different luaus while in Oahu and would highly recommend Toa Luau.

Family atmosphere throughout

We had an amazing time. The luau food and dancing was amazing. It was funny and educational and we really enjoyed it. It also was intimate and I doubt there was a bad spot in the room.

Family luau

The Toa Luau was great. Locally owned and operated with local talent. Highly recommend if you are on the island of Uahu.
