Itinerary
During the navigation, travelers will explore the unique waterways of the Tigre Delta, a vast network of rivers and narrow channels surrounded by lush subtropical vegetation. As the boat glides through the calm waters, guests will see traditional stilt houses, elegant weekend residences, historic rowing clubs, floating supermarkets, and river taxis — all part of daily island life. The guide explains how locals commute, attend school, and adapt to living in this remarkable river ecosystem. Along the way, enjoy peaceful scenery, fresh air, and excellent photo opportunities while discovering the history, culture, and natural beauty that make the Delta one of Argentina’s most distinctive landscapes.
Enjoy a snack at Vivanco restaurant trying some hand-made empanadas. Be welcome to a sensory, friendly, fresh and natural environment located within one of the emblematic rowing clubs of the city of Tigre.
The Puerto de frutos is a small pier located on the banks of the Luján River in the town of Tigre, next to which the fruit market is located. Its name comes from the mid-twentieth century where the fruit production of the Paraná Delta used to disembark in that area, and was then marketed in the city of Buenos Aires
Victorica Avenue is the coastal walk that borders the Luján River to reach the elegant gardens that surround the headquarters of the Tigre Deliberative Council and the Tigre Art Museum
Pass by: In 1909, a society was formed with the purpose of founding a club that would bring together the inhabitants of the place and would be a space for the practice of sports and recreation, including at the same time a casino in the European style

Highly Recommended Tigre Delta Tour
Deborah was an excellent guide — very friendly, accommodating, and easy to communicate with thanks to her great English. The trip to the Tigre Delta was absolutely worth it and is truly a must-see experience when visiting the area. She made the whole day feel relaxed, enjoyable, and well organized, while also sharing interesting information and local insights along the way. Highly recommended!
A good trip with a relaxing boat journey through the interesting Tigre Delta
This was a good trip. A nice journey to the start point with a knowledgeable English-speaking guide, Ana. She was humorous and well informed. The boat trip itself was relaxing and interesting. We even had snacks included, a great day out
Had a stop in Tigre...
Had a stop in Tigre before boarding the boat, some may be bored by the boat which is an hour long, although I did not mind it. Free time at a market afterwards, just enough time to grab something to eat, or fo alittle souvenir shopping.
