About this activity

Four stops, one table: vermut, Catalan cheese, natural wine, and a Michelin-recognized dinner in Barcelona's old town.

Highlights

  • Enjoy 11 food tastings and 6 drinks across 4 stops in Barcelona's old town. Enough food for a full dinner.
  • Sit down at every stop instead of grazing on the move, with real time to talk and taste.
  • Meet the family that's poured the same vermouth recipe since 1967.
  • Finish the night at Capet, a kitchen recognized by the Michelin Guide.
  • Share the table with no more than 8 guests, never a crowd.

Full description

Most food tours rush you from bite to bite. The Supper Club slows down: a full progressive dinner across four stops in the Gothic Quarter and El Born, with a seat and real time at each one. Meet the families and hosts behind every stop, taste your way from a vermouth ritual dating to 1967 to a natural wine bar reshaping how the city drinks, and finish with a chef's-choice main course at a kitchen recognized by the Michelin Guide. With just eight guests at the table, it feels like a dinner party, not a tour.

Begin near the cathedral at a family-run bodega that's poured vermut from Tarragona since 1967. Taste house-salted anchovies, a gilda, and ensaladilla rusa alongside a glass of house vermut, served over ice with lemon. This is la hora del vermut, the vermouth hour, the daily ritual Barcelona builds its evenings around.

Step into a shop devoted entirely to Catalan cheese, inside a former 1920s butter workshop on a street once home to Barcelona's dagger-makers. Every wheel comes from small producers held to strict animal welfare standards. Taste four cheeses across four textures, paired with a glass of cava from the Penedès.

At an intimate wine bar in El Born, your host walks you through the natural wine movement that's reshaped Barcelona's wine lists since the late 1990s. Taste two seasonal dishes alongside two glasses of natural wine from small Catalan producers.

The evening closes at Capet, a kitchen recognized by the Michelin Guide, where chef Armando Álvarez builds the night's main course around whatever the market delivered that day. Finish with dessert and a dessert wine, the last pour in a night that began with a glass of vermut poured the same way since 1967.

Note: the exact dishes, cheeses, and pairings shift with the season and the day of the week. The shape of the evening, four stops and a full dinner, stays the same.

If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone. As an added bonus, our group had only four people, which made the experience absolutely incredible and much more personal. Thanks again, Daniel! 😉
