A Wonderful Memory - I Never Knew

My wife and I had the good fortune to be welcomed by the friendly people of Liverpool. I had incorrectly thought that Liverpool was a dreary place but we were impressed by its development which included a wonderful car-free pedestrian walkway leading from the train station to the Docks. The Beatles Story was supposed to be something that we simply crossed off our bucket list. Having grown up in the Beatles era, we learned a lot about our *heroes* and what the Cavern looked like in the day. Brian Epstein their manager was a big difference maker in their journey. The Beatles Story was one of the highlights of our 22 day - UK and Ireland visit. Congrats.

Decent Place….but avoid if cruise ships are in dock!

Booked a 12.30pm entry and the entry time was strict, unable to enter before that time. Totally picked the wrong time to go as a cruise ship was in dock so, with that and 2 groups of foreign school kids who obviously had no interest whatsoever in The Beatles, out visit was a bit of a nightmare. On a positive note, the audio guide was excellent and the use of good headphones was much appreciated.
