Itinerary
If you select the option, we will pick you up at the entrance of your hotel in Mexico City (Only at touristic areas, subject to availability)
Upon arrival at the Volare Balloon Port, you will need to check in. Afterward, you can enjoy a delicious coffee while watching the balloons inflate. Then we will take off and fly over Teotihuacan.
The hot air balloon flight takes you over the Teotihuacan Valley, where you can see various attractions from the air. The flight lasts between 30 and 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions. Upon landing, we'll have a traditional toast and we will return to the Volare Balloon Port.
Pass by: If weather allows it, you will be able to see the Archaeological site during the ballon flight.
Pass by: You will see the Magical Town of San Juan Teotihuacan during the flight.
Pass by: You will see the Magical Town of San Martin de las Piramides during the flight.
Once the flight is over, we'll return to the Volare balloon port where we'll give you your flight certificate. Then you'll enjoy a Mexican breakfast with Mariachi music. A true Mexican fiesta!
After the flight experience, if you select the option you can visit the Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone and enjoy this site from the ground.
Once the experience is over, we will return to Mexico City. The journey back to your hotel takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

- Hot air balloon flights are completely dependent on weather conditions. The direction and speed of the flight depends on the wind, so sometimes there is the possibility of not flying over the archaeological site.

We had an incredible experience from start to finish. The balloon ride offered breathtaking views of Teotihuacán at sunrise, and the crew was professional, friendly, and made us feel completely safe. Transportation, organization, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mexico City!
Well organised, touristy but worth doing.
Had looked through a lot of reviews and found it hard to find unbiased reviews. My partner and I booked the balloon ride without the additional time/brunch in a cave etc etc as we had read about the hitsory of the pyramids beforehand and knew that we would probably be too tired to go back to the pyramids after the early wakeup. We are glad we made this decision. We were picked up on time at 4:40am by a large van with other passengers and drove straight to the launch site, no traffic in this direction. We arrived at the Volare building for check in which was efficient and we were offered coffee and a snack. Then waited for the balloons to be inflated while the sun was rising. This part was quite cold and there was no seating, though there were some gas heaters outside. Then we were placed into groups for the hot air balloon ride, each balloon has four sections which can hold four people each. Our pilot was excellent and very friendly. There were around 50 other balloons in the air, only a few balloons (ours included) were able to fly right up past the pyramids, the pilot said this is based on luck and wind conditions. Our ride was around 40 minutes and then we landed at a separate site and were given sparkling wine to celebrate the ride. A van took us back to the Volare building where there was a Mexican breakfast waiting for us - the food was okay, there was also a mariachi band that played around each table (presumably wanting tips). The groups going back to the pyramids were taken via shuttle and our shuttle took us back to mexico city. The ride back took around 1:45 mins due to traffic but we were taken to the same place as our pickup point, by about 10:45am. Over all it was very well organised and efficient and felt very safe. We enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others. The photo and video packages are very expensive so be aware when your photos are being taken that you will not receive these photos unless you pay at least 1400MXN depending on the package - be sure to get your own photos too.
Worthy ballontour
Totally worth it! The view was out of this world and the addition of drones and music was some nice touches. We were extremely lucky with the weather conditions. Plenty of dark humour from the hosts to settle the nerves. Only cons are the pricing of the pictures and videos, which were a tad to high.
Best way to start the morning!
Truly worth the experience, our guide was really great and and it feels like a dream. The team was really kind, and it’s a perfect activity to do if you decide not to see the pyramids and head back to the city. The breakfast and music was a great way to end the experience
Once in a life time experience
Price was worth every penny, from the pick up to the flight in the balloon and landing was smooth. Our pilot Juan Diaz was amazing!
