Te Au Moana, translated as  the ocean tide, has always been a constant throughout Oceania, connecting our islands, peoples and generations. Our Polynesian ancestors traversed these oceans tides for ages and revered them for their life sustaining properties. Their stories, which spoke of their expert skills in fishing, gathering and voyaging demonstrated the tremendous depths of knowledge and respect they had to the Earth and its elements. As Hawaii’s premier entertainment company, Tihati Productions endeavors to bring these stories to life at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide”. We invite you to  dine as the ocean sits peacefully before you, as it has for thousands of years. We ask you to  dance under the Maui skies; the moon and stars await you and we hope that you  discover all the fascinating stories at “Te Au Moana: The Ocean Tide” a spectacular lu’au experience like no other!

Lovely oceanside setting and great food!

Really nice beach side setting. The food was delicious, and abundant. You won't leave hungry. 3 couses: we started with salad, edemame, cucumber salad, Mac salad, rolls. The main courses were pulled pork, spare ribs, chicken, fish with some veggie sides. Dessert was banana bread, cookies, fruit, and a strawberry layer cake. Open bar included. The show included a lot of dancing, music, and cultural information about all of the Polynesian nations, not just Hawaii. After dark, the fin act was the Samoan fire knife dancers, which was incredible.

Good show-Poor Food Preparation

Fantastic performance, but the food was exceptionally poor. Expected better food for the price.

Make your reservations...

Make your reservations early we decided to go once we had gotten to Hawaii, so our table was not close to the stage. But I believe all the tables have a decent view. Overall, I believe it was overpriced The food was ok but it was presented well and our waiter was very friendly. I recommend the mai tai drink the frozen drink choices melted fast. The performers were talented and I enjoyed the luau experience.

A delicious and enjoyable evening!

The Te Au Moana was our favorite luau ever! Elegant, delicious, entertaining and memorable ! From the moment we arrived and received our beautiful orchid leis, our group of grandparents and teens were all happy! Brandon our bartender, took care of our beverage needs and Benji our expert waiter served us the most delicious selections of high quality and fresh foods! He even brought us extra portions of our favorite dishes. The entertainment was outstanding and engaging! What a beautiful evening!

Family Luau was fantastic

The luau food was unexpectedly delicious. The staff was very attentive and well timed. 2 hours of the luau feast and family time. The show was great and we actually learned a lot of new cultural facts that we will remember !
