Kick off your Niagara food tour with a maple syrup tasting. Step inside a local maple shop where the friendly staff will lead you through a guided tasting of a variety of syrups, each with a unique flavor profile, along with a sweet surprise to take your taste buds even further.
Next, we're off to a 100-year-old bakery where the legendary butter tart steals the show. There's no better place to sink your teeth into the history of this decadent Canadian classic.
Your next tasting is a customized charcuterie board that showcases an array of Canadian cheeses, complemented by fresh fruits and crackers or bread. Your guide will share stories of how these cheeses reflect the region’s dairy tradition.
Next on the menu is a comfort food that no trip to Canada would be complete without: poutine! Crispy fries, creamy cheese curds, and savory gravy combine in this quintessential Canadian dish.
From there, it's time to toast with ice wine, Niagara’s iconic drink. At a local storefront, enjoy a guided tasting and hear the story of how this regional specialty became a Canadian favorite.
End on a sweet note with fudge. Wander into a charming (and quintessentially Canadian) shop, where the tantalizing smells of freshly made confections fill the air. Watch the process and savor a piece of this rich treat.

The tour was great and having priority on the boat was excellent
If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone. As an added bonus, our group had only four people, which made the experience absolutely incredible and much more personal. Thanks again, Daniel! 😉
