- For dining at Opera Bar or House Canteen, the Tour & Dine menu is available from 11:30am - 6.00pm on the day of your tour booking.
- For dining at Midden by Mark Olive, the Tour & Dine menu is available from 11:30am - 2:30pm, and 5:00-6:00pm on the day of your tour booking.
- Check in for your tour 15 minutes prior to tour departure at the Welcome Centre located on the lower concourse level. You will receive a ticket to redeem the main meal and beverage at Opera Bar or House Canteen after your tour.
- The booking time refers to the tour departure time. If you are more than 5 minutes late from the start time of your tour, your tour will be forfeited
- Child's Menu available for Children aged 5-15
- Language Tour Options: German, French, Spanish and Mandarin Tour & Dine options are operated in language, not in English.
- Infants need to be booked on tour, but food & drink not included in ticket pricing.
- Venue access is subject to availability at the time of your tour and can change up until tour departure time.
- This product is available in different languages, please choose correct language at time of booking.
- The 1 hour tour includes 300 stairs/low impact
- Midden by Mark Olive Tour & Dine available from 1st April 2025.

Amazing tour and dining experience
The opera house was a great experience!!! So beautiful and our tour guide was amazing !!!! The food whew we had backed chicken breast on top of garlic potatoes and peas , the chicken was so tender there was no need for a knife, and it was seasoned well !!! And we had a glass of wine with the meal it was the best tour so far !!! I recommend the dinner with the tour so u can get the full experience !!!

Great tour, terrible dining experience!
This review only reflects the dining experience, the tour itself was wonderful and educational. The dining experience at Midden felt like a bait and switch. You are only allowed certain menu items and you will only be sat in certain parts of the restaurant. That was unexpected, but fine. It’s a package deal, understood. What was unexpected is we did not feel welcome at all. We were embarrassed to be there after a few moments because we were left to find our own table with our cutlery and glasses in hand. The bar manager eventually found us a table, which was lovely. The meal was small, but plated well. We were never checked upon, never offered water. We just left after eating because it was clear no one else would attend to us. All this to say, don’t do the dining experience. We said that we’d laugh about this one in a few years.
Excellent experience with spectacular views
Arrive on time, there are multiple tours happening at the same time. And while you can check bags etc, I’d advise people to not arrive with their life in a backpack.
