Great trip for an afternoon
Fantastic afternoon tea, it was delicious. Complemented by great views of the harbour, Opera house and bridge.
Overall this was a lovely...
Overall this was a lovely experience and one I would recommend to anyone wanting a nice high tea experience in beautiful Sydney harbour. The cruise shows you many of the wonderful sights of Sydney and we were fortunate to see dolphins as well on our trip. The food was delicious and plentiful. The tea options were very limited, and nothing special. We had to ask a couple of times for normal black tea, by the time it arrived the hot water provided to us had gone lukewarm. Unfortunately our table was one of the last to be served so by the time our food arrived we were already well into the cruise time and the hot items were cold. We understand not everyone can be served immediately but would still aspect items to be warm at least. We were doing this experience with our baby and unlucky timing for us meant he woke up when our food was finally served, of course this was to no fault of the cruise company as this is our decision to bring a small child onto this experience. However when we asked if we may take our high tea with us (as I was unable to finish my high tea due to our baby), we were flat out refused to do so, with very little to no understanding provided to our circumstances. My husband is also in a wheelchair and needs assistance with eating so managing this and our baby is of course our challenge, but we were simply hoping we could take our food with us given we were unable to have most of it on the cruise due to the time taken for it to arrive at our table. Nonetheless our unique circumstances aside we would have appreciated some understanding here. The cruise itself was wonderful and very picturesque. The staff helping to board the guests onto the boat were wonderful and very helpful with our pram and wheelchair.
A Relaxing Cruise with Beautiful Harbour Views
We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon on the Sydney Harbour high tea cruise. The views of the Harbour were beautiful and, of course, being out on the water is always special. It’s a lovely way to take in the scenery and enjoy some time relaxing. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, and the service was smooth. The food and drinks were enjoyable, though fairly standard for a high tea experience. Overall, it was a nice outing with beautiful views — a good option if you’re looking for a relaxed way to see the Harbour.
Unreasonable admission prices
I reached out to the team as I tried booking for high tea for my family however I noticed that the prices for adults and kids were the same. The team confirmed that the price was the same for adults and kids and I was told that this was a set menu. Which does not provide any sensible explanation to how a child’s food type and quantity would be the same. The standard menu had bubbles and tea and no child would be utilising that option so therefore a complete waste of money to be paying an adults price and not utilising the menu. If people booking need an adult option for their older kids then they would do that but it makes no sense for a 4,5,6,7 etc years old to be getting an adults menu. I did provide this as a feedback to the team hopefully they consider as many other high teas in Sydney have kids and adults prices as separate.
Lovely experience, highly recommend
