Sunset Boat Trip to Panarea & Stromboli from Milazzo

10 hours

About this activity

Come aboard our boat and join us for this boat trip to Panarea and Stromboli at sunset! Our adventure begins at midday in the Milazzo harbour, from where we will head to our first stop: Panarea.

Highlights

  • Visit to Panarea and Stromboli
  • Sunset over the sea with view of a erupting volcano
  • A very spacious boat

Full description

Along the way, our staff will be happy to give you advice on what to see on the respective islands, where you will have 2.5 hours each to visit them.

This island is the smallest of the archipelago, but also the most charming, with its old town painted in blue and white and picturesque alleyways. Here, we suggest you take a dip in the crystal-clear water of Cala degli Zimmari or visit the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese.

Next stop is Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world! During your time on your own, you can visit the historic centre, from where you can get a breathtaking view of the island of Strombolicchio, the oldest volcano in the Aeolian Islands. However, the highlight of our trip will be at dusk, when the colour of the eruption fire contrasts with the lights of the sunset. At the end of our adventure, we will return to the port of Milazzo.

Overall the experience was good. Our guide was great, knowledgable and we went to beautiful places. These are mostly personal preferences that I would’ve liked to know- there would be nothing to eat until almost 3pm. At each stop we had 3-4 very small tastings of wine- for an entire day trip a little more wine would’ve been appreciated. The bus was too tight and uncomfortable for our group. There were words exchanged between people who (understandably!) didn’t want to sit in the back.
