Great tour
Great tour. Just right out of time to see the Cape and Temple of Poseidon. This area was gorgeous and we got some amazing pictures with the temple and with the Aegean Sea. We weren’t there at sunset because sunset in April is around 8 pm and we were there at the sight from 4:30-5:30. The van was comfy and well air conditioned and only 20 people per tour. The tour guide gave interesting Athens and mythology facts on the trip down. The trip takes about hour and half to get to the cape, then hour and half back. I loved it and thought it was worth the price. You do have to buy tickets for the sight separately and they are 20 euros in April.
If you are visiting...
If you are visiting Athens, this experience is a must. The views of the sea were breathtaking, especially at sunset. The guide was so friendly and shared information about Athens along the way.
Successful excursion
The standard entrance fee of 20 euros is not really cheap, but is within the usual limits for most sights in and around Athens. You also need a little weather luck for a suitable sunset.
Just 30 min at the temple
Had to queue for restroom and tickets (not possible to buy tickets on line). We were left with just half an hour to enjoy the temple and sunset.
It was fun
We had a great time - the only thing that might have been better is if they had bought the tickets but it was still awesome
