Planning to tick Stonehenge off your bucket list? This stress-free return trip to Stonehenge from London will allow you to explore the world-famous site at a relaxed pace. The coach for this self-guided tour will be departing from Victoria, central London – make sure you are at the pickup spot at least 15 minutes beforehand to check in! As you’re walking around Stonehenge, you’ll get to learn about the many theories (some still standing, some proven wrong) surrounding this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. Was it a burial ground? A sacred temple? A way to tell the time? Despite having been sitting proudly on Salisbury Plain for 5,000 years, Stonehenge is still very much an enigma. Hear about its long history and enjoy this fascinating place! You’ll also have time to explore the site’s exhibition and visitor centre – containing 250 ancient objects discovered around Stonehenge – and walk around the incredible models of Neolithic houses.

Another lifelong bucket list checked off.

Was truly magical experiencing one of our world’s wonders. Lots of good information there and back from our driver.

Wonderful Experience

The tour is very brief, however, give yourself enough time to see the exhibition as well. So best time to see it is early morning for the sunrise and also during spring. Less crowds.

Half day Stonehenge

It’s the perfect way to see Stonehenge if you don’t want an all day tour. There is plenty of time at the site itself, and the early start got us there before it got crowded, even on a Saturday. Highly recommend.

Trip To Stonehedge, May 2026

Kirn was an excellent bus driver who talked about the areas the bus was traveling through. He gave us a history of Stonehedge. He also talked about London and gave recommendations on what to see while there.

great but too short

Great overall, but the snacks were not provided, and the time allocated to visit the site itself is too short (around an hour), so we couldn't properly visit the exhibition. Very pleasant driver/tour guide.
